Originally an artwork by Stefano Arienti made by Sit-in (a Radici brand) with ECONYL® nylon and exhibited in Italy at ArtVerona depicting a colossal, ancient map of Europe dating back to the Roman Empire, today is an exclusive capsule collection with 32 unique pieces available for purchase. Custom-tailored rugs, in various sizes, each one different from the other, each one with a different piece of history. The rich, neutral colors trace territorial borders in the form of “stepping stones” to what would later become the continent today.
Designed by renowned Italian artist Stefano Arienti, whose art is characterized by sustainability values such as the reuse of materials and by Conceptual Movement, the original masterpiece was created to welcome visitors to the 3-day art event located in Verona. Now the masterpiece has been reworked and re-proposed by the ECONYL® Brand to become a cozy rug suitable for our homes. Considering the 3 days of use, each piece has been re-evaluated, like a second-hand carpet.

This collection is made of ecological and recyclable rugs made from ECONYL® nylon, combining design and innovation in the creation of a unique and timeless product. A tough and dirt-resistant material, but above all easy to clean. The pile height is 6 mm and its dense weave makes these rugs versatile and ideal for every living space.

The innovative Virex treatment reduces viral load by 99.9% on natural fibers and 99.4% on synthetic fibers. Thanks to its antibacterial action and its oleo-repellent agent, it allows a more hygienic product while maintaining all the technical and comfortable characteristics of the rug.
Virex is OEKO-TEX CLASS 1 certified, metal-free, non-dispersive, non-migratory and non-toxic. Its efficacy has been accredited by external certified laboratories guaranteeing that its efficacy remains constant over a period of 10 years.

- All these carpets are certified “CSI Recyclable Plastic”. This certification is issued after meticulous analysis by the CSI body, which has been working in Europe for over more than 50 years to certify recycled and recyclable products by ensuring their quality.
